The Economics of Storytelling: The New Power Map in Media and Entertainment

  • Financial Times Bracken House, 1 Friday Street London EC4M 9 BT United Kingdom (map)

Please join the Georgetown Entertainment & Media Alliance (GEMA) and Georgetown Club of the United Kingdom (UK Hoyas) for an exciting panel and reception at The Financial Times on Monday, 27 April 2026.

Our expert panellists have accumulated experience from across the entertainment and media industry, whether developing and producing stories for National Geographic and Disney+, or leading the music strategy team at TikTok, or serving as the global media editor for The Financial Times. Moderated by award-winning producer and presenter Tania Bryer OBE (F'84), our panellists will discuss how technology and audience behaviour are shifting the business models behind telling, producing and delivering stories.

The panel will be followed by a Q&A and a networking reception with drinks and hors d’oeuvres. We hope to see you there!
