Bluebell Season Ivinghoe Beacon Hike

Join us for another Brown alumni walk on Saturday, May 11 to see spectacular bluebell carpets under sprouting spring woods. This is one of the best walks to do during bluebell season. It is a 10 mile (16 km) circular walk following a ridgeway to Ivinghoe Beacon with great views of the valleys and hills ahead. Allow 8-9 hours for the whole trip.

Those leaving from London will take the 9.39 am train from London Euston station which runs directly to Tring. Aim to be by the ticket office by 9.15 am, especially if you want to buy group tickets for which there is a 30% discount. Bring sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen, plenty of water, and snacks. There will be a pub stop halfway and another one at the end of the hike.
